What I do
Sensors, radios and small computers like the Raspberry Pi, wired up and working on your bench, then the software that collects the data and shows it to you. Good fit for a prototype, a proof of concept, or a device that needs to talk to the rest of your system.
Taking on small projects, about 5 to 10 hours a week.
Recent work
LoRa radio logger
Used a Heltec LoRa radio to reach a node at Sandbox, an Atlanta hackerspace, and swap messages both ways over radio, with no internet or cell service in between.
Self-hosted home lab
A calendar server, a task app and an SMS gateway I run on my own Linux server, reachable only over a private network.
